Starting psychotherapy takes a tremendous amount of courage and strength. You’re here; you took that first step, and that’s amazing. In my practice, I strive to create an environment where people can feel safe, empowered, seen, and supported. In this space, we can discuss what is on your mind in the present, as well as ways in which your past may have impacted current patterns of emotions and behaviors. In addition to graduate school training, I received post-grad certification in Relational Psychoanalytic Approaches to Working with Children/Adolescents. This influences my work with adults; particularly, those who experienced difficult or traumatic childhoods. As a bilingual Latina psychotherapist, I also specialize in working with Hispanic/Latinx clients whose dominant language is English, though may want to occasionally express themselves in Spanish. Every person is unique. As such, I tailor my approach to the individual needs, interests, strengths, and goals of the people with whom I work. Together, we can talk through complex feelings, emotional blocks, and pursue your own unique path to progress. I look forward to meeting you.
